Executive Director of non-profit animal rescue
In 2005 I started a non-profit organization focused on saving the lives of at risk dogs in local shelters. Our focus is rehabbing dogs on local shelter kill lists and adopting them to loving homes. Since starting, we have saved close to 50 hard to place dogs, who otherwise would have been killed. I oversee all operations of the organization on a volunteer, unpaid basis, including volunteer recruitment, financial management, marketing and fundraising, community relations, and animal care and adoption.
