  • Administer and coordinate multiple maintenance budgets and projects concurrently, control cost through multiple avenues; tooling, parts, and equipment procurement for maintenance and construction of Link Light Rail Projects N830,E750,L800,R200.
    Manage maintenance staff; schedule projects, major tasks, training, and review; Provide right time feedback, including constructive and corrective actions.

  • Review maintenance drafts, scope, and work plans for safety, production, and cost outcomes.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, outside vendors and contractors; review work orders, maintenance and inspection logging, parts ordering and inventory tracking, through software interface (SAP).
  • Review new equipment as it is delivered from OEM to ensure, safety, design functionality, and procure needed tooling or parts to ensure smooth operation and maintenance performance.
  • Manage and audit outside maintenance contracts and repairs, for productivity and cost control, including warranty agreements.
  • Coordinate with projects and construction/maintenance trades to administer training program, run operator and safety training sessions, and audit certifications and annual training policy.
  • Periodically inspect equipment for regulatory documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, and develop reference guides for equipment training.
  • Leverage telematics and SAP software; to ensure all equipment is tracked, protected, inspected, and maintained per company and regulatory policy.
  • Monitor craft employees to ensure safety policy is followed, and work is completed in accordance to regulatory policy, company/industry standards, and OEM recommendations.
  • Perform administrative functions, collect and enter data, use spreadsheets, and software programs; prepare reports and analysis of costs, productivity, DVI and HOS logs, etc…
  • Review invoices, and expenditures for accuracy and authorizations.
  • Review reports and invoices from outside contractors and vendors, approving or denying payment based on findings and documentation.
  • Participate in planning of goals, objectives, policies, priorities, and maintenance budgets for area projects; Forecast future staffing, equipment, materials, and supply needs.
