My name is Shane McKinley. I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelors degree. During my time at South Alabama I also completed a 21 year baseball career. After graduating, I became an independent catastrophe claims adjuster for Worley Co. and acquired Xactimate experience. In 2020, Worley Co. was purchased by Alacrity Solutions LLC. During this year of transition I was promoted to a manager/trainer role where I learned how to manage large groups of adjusters. I pride myself on being a very personable individual and easy to get along with. Being self-motivated and customer-focused is what separates me from all other candidates. I believe I am a highly-motivated employee with desire to take on new challenges. I have a strong work ethic, adaptability and exceptional interpersonal skills. I have been told by my direct superiors that I am adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills. I am a hardworking employee with customer service, multitasking and time management abilities, devoted to giving every customer a positive and memorable experience.
As fore mentioned, Alacrity Solutions purchased the firm I was employed at although the job duties and day to day function of the firm did not change much. I was promoted to a manager position in late 2020, where I excelled in keeping adjusters focused, determined, and efficient. In the insurance industry, time management and organization are mandatory. I took pride in being available and an ever constant resource the adjusters under my supervision. I believe treating people with respect and appreciation is one of the most important aspects of being in a superior role.
I obtained licenses in 12 states. During my employment and recent job sites I have estimated for the scope of loss and the time of the inspections. I have handled claims from start to finish for State Farm and Tower Hill, while making customer service and diligence a priority. Over the course of my career as an adjuster, I handled approximately 4,000 claims involving inspections, extensive and non-extensive damage, policy knowledge, and settlements. Seeing a homeowners claim from start to finish ensuring the homeowner is taken care of to the best of my ability.
