Compassionate and dependable caregiver with hands-on experience providing full-time care for both of my grandparents while they battled Stage 4 cancer and underwent dialysis treatment. I assisted with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, mobility support, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. I also provided emotional support and companionship during advanced medical treatment and recovery. In addition, I cared for my grandfather’s ostomy bag by helping clean, empty, and change supplies while monitoring for irritation or infection to ensure his comfort and dignity. I supported dialysis-related care by assisting with post-treatment recovery, monitoring symptoms such as fatigue and weakness, and helping follow dietary and health guidelines recommended by medical professionals. Through this experience, I developed strong communication skills, patience, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and organized while caring for individuals with serious medical conditions.
