My second main role at Driftwood is baking. I bake cakes out of my home kitchen, and sell them whole to the restaurant. Carrot and chocolate cakes are permanently on the menu, and a seasonal cake of my choosing is offered as well. Currently, I consistently offer 9 different flavors of cake, and am testing new recipes daily. The publicity of my baking also brings in many custom cake orders. I am quickly gaining experience in commercial baking.
My role at Victoria's Secret started November of 2013 in Lincoln, Nebraska as a seasonal employee. I was quickly promoted to sales specialist. From December of 2017 to May of 2018, I was promoted to a temporary management position while the store was without a store manager. Within this time frame, I had elevated responsibilities, grew sales, recruited talent, and supported many other management duties. My leadership and teamwork skills were most admirable in this position. After 5 years at this location, I was transferred and promoted to beauty supervisor at the Bradley Fair location in Wichita, Kansas. As a supervisor I oversaw the brand sales, merchandising, marketing, customer experience, payroll control, and operational details. I am very knowledgeable of the product in all brands, and train new associates, thanks to my extensive experience with the company. During this time I also supported sales and management as a sales specialist. This role covers sales, fittings, product knowledge and customer experience across all brands.
