• Our goal is simple: create meaningful connections between seniors living in long-term care facilities with people outside while promoting wellness education & awareness campaigns about important topics related to healthy lifestyle changes affecting aging populations globally.
  
  We address the dire need for caring for and looking after our seniors. With an aging population and rising healthcare costs, it has become increasingly important to acknowledge the wealth of knowledge and experience that seniors bring to our community. The elderly bring a large amount of wealth of knowledge and experience to our community. It is a known fact that nursing homes are the forgotten cornerstone of our community & are elderly are often overlooked.

• Created and manage the youth entrepreneurship shark tank event called Action Hour. The Action Hour support opportunity youth with seed money to launch their community events and endeavors. This cultivation has given more than $10,000 to youth nationally.
• Managed and led NYEC youth grant related projects with Annie E Casey LEAP (Learn Earn Achieve Potential). Provided technical assistance, to the Annie E Casey Team to lead-cultivated workshops for the 10 LEAP fellow.
• Created and manage NYEC Though Leaders initiative that offers opportunities for youth to join our ongoing series of NYEC workshops aim to cultivate servant-leaders ready to take action to create a change. The goal is to foster peer leadership, civic engagement, and collaboration through hands-on experiences.
• Founded and created NYEC YAC (Youth Advisory Council) YAC has the opportunity to join regular leadership development sessions, with other youth and national partner organization staff. Youth can help design and lead NYEC’s two national convening's.
• Collaborated with social media influencers and press to drive brand optimization such as Senator Will Haskell, Biden Harris representative Chiraag Bains, and Theo Smith.

• Actively supply what the communities need: encouragement and thought partnering, information, training capacity, written plans, bi-partisan voter information on candidates, information on voter suppression and voter accessibility issues in their communities and states, access to inspiring videos or speakers, and more.

• Support planning and designing each session and the overall OYN Summit Agenda. This would involve tasks such as:
• Send emails and plan with invited presenters to led sessions or portions during the conference. Email and schedule planning calls with the potential speaker. Create session outlines for each workshop and plenary.
• Maintain and regularly update a planning tracker with the activities completed, activities that need to be completed and deadlines.
• Send reminders about deadlines to ensure the team is staying on track. Prepare information to share with team (e.g., review registration reports biweekly and analyze how many are from each sector).
• Create Appropriation Letter for Reconnecting Youth Campaign House Senate and congressional member to support on going programs such as Youthbuild-Job Corp.

• Awarded the three year Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund grant from The Aspen Institute to reconnected disconnected youth in Atlanta. 
• Collaborated with various local partners such as Atlanta Opportunity Youth Council and Youth Services Collaborative to expand community awareness of Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund and capacity building to ensure sustainability.
