I have recently graduated from SUNY Fredonia. I have a BS in physics and a minor in computer science. Over the summer of 2023, I participated in a research project at Michigan State University, supported by the National Science Foundation. Within these opportunities, I managed my own projects, developed programming skills, and presented my results at conferences. Also, I've volunteered in and hosted multiple public outreach events.

  • Specifically, if a flat image is required or obsolete
  • Over the course of a year, I collected flat image data from the telescope

  • I've acquired the skill to articulate complex issues in a clear and accessible manner through scientific writing

  • My project was a case study of the exoplanet Kepler - 74b
  • I carefully analyzed luminosity data to test for the shape of the orbit of the planet around its host star, which was originally assumed to be circular
  • Worked with large amounts of data from NASA's exoplanet database
  • Used python to streamline data and create visual representations
  • Presented results at the Winter 243 AAS (American Astronomical Society) Meeting
