Dear Hiring Manager,
I am very excited to apply for the camp host position. Having worked in a wide range of customer service positions since the age 16 ranging from food service, retail, nursing, construction, businesses I owned, and more has equipped me to be able to deal with many facets of customer service. I am able to find solutions to issues in a professional manner at all times regardless of the degree of complexity. Nursing has taught me how to deal with people with compassion and patience especially with end of life care. In the construction industry on a residential and commercial level, handling people's expectations has also equipped me with excellent problem solving techniques. I am known for delivering excellent customer service and have received numerous positive reviews, notes, and awards from past customers and patients. Great customer service is key not just for new customers but, in my honest opinion, bringing in repeat customers.
I enjoy not only being a part of a team, but I will also assume a leadership role when needed. Co-workers who work together create an environment where customers feel important and taken care of. I recently worked at the Michigan Beet Harvest where I supervised several teams of 5-6 people on different beet piling sites. My teams worked hard and efficiently in difficult weather conditions. I think it is important to exude willingness to help out team members when the need arises. It builds a willingness for the team to work harder and more cohesively. Whether I am leading or being a part of the team, I place a lot of effort into working together and respecting each other's differences.
I would be delighted for an opportunity to bring my experiences, skill, and dedication to providing "above and beyond" customer service.
Thank you for your consideration and time,
Shannon Allen
