As the Logistics Manager of Harbor Freight I am responsible for the complete understanding of Merchandise Management, along with my Logistics Team understanding it as well. Overall, controlling inventory, ISOS and making sure Harbor Freight is a Great Place to Shop. This is done through the proper execution of POGs, the truck process, replenishment and secondary scans of the store. I have successfully lead the completion of many large POG resets with my team for example, Welding, Construction Demo, Outdoor Equipment, ect.
I ensure Safety is a top priority in the store, and make sure I recognize associates with a Safety Card when I see safe practices. I have recently trained and helped coach all associates and supervisors on how to further Drive UPT, through asking open ended questions to our customers, through additional add ons, increase stock level with items that sell with like items, through making sure all customers have a basket and or shopping cart to shop with. Also, ensuring we lead effective LOD shifts. I regularly review the Leader Performance Comparison Chart with supervisors to see any opportunities and what successes we have had. I assist with the End of the Month checklist and also the Operational Audit that is completed weekly. I have understanding of Atlas and have worked with my Store Manager on properly writing an effective schedule. Through my dedication, appreciation, communication and team driven attitude I believe I have made Harbor Freight also a Great Place to Work.
