While assigned to both the Limon Correctional Facility (LCF) and Colorado State Penitentiary (CSP), I've had the opportunity to expand and hone my skills and capabilities in both housing and security operations. The diverse and often challenging offender population at LCF and CSP has allowed me to further develop my ability to communicate and build constructive relationships with both staff and offenders while remaining focused on security and professionalism

• Received Training on UKG, Scheduling and Time Sheets
• Promoted Normalization and built rapport with the offenders in my assigned unit.

• Regularly manage the Fox Pod housing unit as a shift lead, supervising staff and delegating tasks to ensure successful completion of daily operations

• Through strategic rapport building, have successfully aided in the de-escalation, rehabilitation and counseling of offenders

• Escorted offenders from living units to medical appointments and assisted medical staff in conducting Medline by ensuring the consistent flow of offenders through the Medline process and making sure the medication was properly taken and the area was safe and secure
• Maintained control of the yard by supervising facility operations with consistent, effective communication and delegations of tasks with my team to ensure successful completion of daily operations while having a positive interaction with other correctional series staff resulting in strengthened teams
• Routinely checked the doors and fences on the outside of the facility for safety and security
• Manned the towers inside and outside of the Facility monitoring movement of the yard and outside the facility
• Worked Master Control to ensure the proper movement in and out of the facility, conduct count, emergency counts, staff accountability checks, issue gear to staff and controlled various doors to control proper and authorized movement within the facility
• Used proper protocols when responding to emergency situations such as assaults, fights, medical emergencies, fires
• Escorted inmates to and from cells, court, and hospitals for medical emergencies
