  • Run a small team of estimators to bid concrete projects in Arkansas, Arizona, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Michigan. Projects ranged from $900k to $28 Million - Big Box tilt up warehouses, K-12 Schools, Colleges and Municipal projects.
  • Search out projects to bid on, determine which estimator is best fit to estimate project. Review completed estimate.
  • Developed strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable prices and terms to lower material costs.
  • Calculated labor hours accurately based on trade-specific productivity rates, leading to more realistic project timelines and work plans.
  • Created an estimate template (company did not have one) and collaborate with project management team and operations to set production rates for each scope.
  • Provide Value Engineering alternates which frequently enabled us to be awarded projects even though we were not the low bidder.

  • Work with operations and project management team during preconstruction process to determine which forming system, crane size and type, pour plans, table plans and overall schedule to present to the general contractor along with our proposal.
