Summary
I graduated from St. Cloud State with my Bachelors degree in Special Education as an Academic Behavior Strategist in 2014. I have been a Special Education Teacher for nine years. I spent my first two years teaching in Pine River-Backus School district working with students aging in range from Kindergarten to twelfth grade under all five disability categories. The last seven years I have taught at Riverside Elementary School working with students in grades Kindergarten through second grade. My core belief is that all students can learn. Teachers need to find what motivates and interests students. Students need to know that there is at least one person that deeply cares about them. As an educator, I am constantly learning and growing each and everyday. I look forward to the opportunity to continue my educational career at St. Mary's University.
