I was a single mother of two children. I opened my first business of a hair salon at the age 22. My salon was named Berkshire Cuts. It started as a one person operated salon by myself to and full service salon with 7 employees. I myself had close too 400 clients to take care of as well as every aspect of an owner/operator. I was responsible for product ordering/payroll/ advertising/cleaning/ stocking/ bill payments and having an attentive, friendly, qualified staff. I had Berkshire Cuts from Dec 1996- Oct 2020. Due to Covid I was forced close the doors on my salon.
In June of 2019 I was also co-owner of Pops Diner LLC. Not only was I co-owner I cooked/waitressed/ book keeping/ payroll / bi- weekly food orders/ office manager and bus person for my staff. Again I was forced to close the doors in March of 2020 due to the Pandemic. I re-opened June 28th 2020 until November 2020. The state mandate caused the Diner to only be at half capacity which made day to day operations scarce to say the least. I closed permanently Nov 1 ,2020. In Dec 2020 I relocated to Conway South Carolina ,ready for a new start.
