Student Enrollment

• Completed initial interviews and provided psychosocial support to new families to help patients adjust to diagnosis and treatment
• Taught coping strategies tailored to family's needs and also prepared patients for transition from pediatric to adult care
• Worked side by side with BSW Case Managers providing case management services to patients on a variety of services including working with international families
• Attended all departmental meetings and assisted with projects within the social work department under the guidance of a field instructor
