I have been working in the oil and gas industry for eight (8) years.
Six (6) of those years being in the gas compression industry.
Currently repairing and maintaining small horsepower units with quintuplex pumps.
I have become competent with the smaller Waukesha's performing maintenance and unit overhauls, as well as being a competent gas compressor technician.
Duties have included performing preventive maintenance services, top ends including replacing cylinder heads, turbos, etc. Also replacing liner packs when necessary. Repair of gas compressor packings, replacement and service of compressor valves, performing compressor annuals, performing electrical troubleshooting and other assigned tasks.
Aside from the past eight (8) years in the oilfield, my past work experience of approximately thirty-five (35) years includes performing repairs in the automotive field, farm equipment, heavy equipment and heavy duty tractor trailer repair.
My work experience has come from dealership employment, truck shop employment as well as my time self-employed with my own business in the shop and in the field performing repairs and services on customers location.
