I'm a driven Pre-Medical Biology student at Florida Gulf Coast University. I have a passion for women's health and medicine. My academic journey here at FGCU has given me the tools through core classes and research to succeed in medical school. Through my job experience, this has given me valuable insights into healthcare and leadership to gain skills needed to become an excellent physician. I'm committed in pursing a career in medicine to advocate for patients and having the opportunity to make a positive impact in local communities.
-Assist students in planning their coursework and extracurricular activities to meet the requirements for graduate school applications.
-Provide guidance on effective study strategies and resources for students preparing for the MCAT/DAT/etc., including test-taking techniques and time management.
-Help pre-professional students navigate the graduate school application process, offering advice on application timelines, prerequisites, and extracurriculars.
-Contact and coordinate with medical schools and other programs to schedule virtual meetings and informational talks for students.
-Represent the Pre-Professional Programs at events and outreach activities, including providing information to students about available resources and opportunities.
-Meet with dual enrollment students to ensure they are adequately preparing for graduate school and provide advice on their individual academic pathways.
-Respond promptly and professionally to student inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information regarding academic planning and graduate school preparation.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
-Knowledge of the MCAT, pre-medical, pre-dental, and pre-pharmacy academic requirements, and graduate school admissions processes.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
