
Personnel Security Specialist with 7+ years of experience supporting national security missions. Skilled in adjudications, suitability, Continuous Evaluation, and SCI security operations. · Serves as the primary liaison between the security office and external agencies and departments as well the contract lead to oversee the work of junior personnel security specialists.
· Review and provide recommendations to adjudicate personnel security investigations; apply adjudicative guidelines and national security standards.
· Analyze SF-86/SF-85 forms for completeness, accuracy, and risk indicators; initiate follow-up actions.
· Manage SCI access, indoctrinations, briefings, debriefings, and access verification.
· Maintain personnel security records; process visit requests, clearance certifications, and adverse reporting.
· Utilize ISMS, Scattered Castles, DISS and SharePoint to update case records, eligibility, and incident reporting.
· Provide personnel security guidance and policy interpretation to military, government, and contractor personnel.
· Serve as liaison to external agencies to resolve security issues and ensure coordinated security operations.
· Conduct Security briefings, debriefings, out processing, and security awareness training and coordinate with servicing Special Security Officer (SSO)
to ensure all personnel with approved access to collateral or SCIF facilities are fully trained on opening/closing procedures to include demonstration
of the process.
· Develop and update SOPs, training materials, and adjudicative reference documents to guide personnel security operations and ensure uniform application of security standards across CISA
● Provided guidance to ensure publications and forms meet prescribed style, format, and legal and statutory requirements.
● Implemented procedures for manual and electronic creation, control, coordination, dissemination, and disposal of administrative communications.
● Complied with the Privacy Act (PA) and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) procedures and provides assistance to ensure others comply.
● Provided PA, FOIA, and records management training.
● Assisted the support staff with a range of tasks including administrative communications, information flow including processing, controlling, and
