• Ensure a warm, caring, and stimulating environment for children enrolled in the Ben Robinson Community Center Kennesaw Parks and Recreation summer camp program in an effort to create a positive and enriching summer experience.
• Keep consistent headcounts on all children present in summer camp and provided constant awareness of each child’s location (restroom, playground, enrichment clubs/camps, etc.).
• Document and report any moderate and major behavioral incidents and/or injuries to the Director using proper protocols and Incident reports.
• Consistently monitor and supervise children under the care , maintaining “line of sight” with any children located both inside and outside of designated areas.
• Assist summer camp team leaders in conducting all student activities (arts and crafts projects, indoor/outdoor games, teacher directed games, etc). Participate in creating and leading various student activities.
• Actively participate in daily sign-in/out processes and dismissal/carpool procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a clean environment which includes janitorial duties necessary to maintain the cleanliness of the facility inside and outside.
• Attend staff meetings and assigned online training as directed.

• Learned and maintained proficiency in first responder skills such as First Aid and CPR to offer individuals in distress optimal support.
• Ensured swimmer safety by vigilantly monitoring pool area and enforcing rules.
• Monitored safety of guests in and around swimming pool.
• Provided friendly customer service to guests and addressed concerns.

• Keep a close eye on swimmers in the wave pool, and many exciting water attractions

• Assist guests in and out of rafts and cycle through the line efficiently

• Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders
