Additional Information

This is Sharifa Hesarnaee I am a newcomer in the United States of America and a doctor, married, and have three children. My husband is also a doctor and has gotten his Master's degree in Public Health from India. My family is educated. I graduated from Kabul Medical University ( the most qualified governmental medical university in Afghanistan ), then passed the residency program at Malalai Maternity and Teaching Hospital ( the most qualified governmental hospital in Afghanistan ), I have worked in different national and international organizations in different positions as part-time beside my education.

I have good experience in my profession because of worked as an OBS/GYN specialist and officer in Dasht e Barchi 100 bed hospital from 2014 through the end of 2022 supported by the MOPH and MSF ( Ministry of Public Health and Doctors without Border ), so I am qualified and experienced in the field of health in both management and practice.

It is mentionable that MSF stopped its activities after a suicide attack happened in Dasht e Barchi 100 beds hospital in May 2020, where many newborns, children, mothers, and staff were killed and injured, as a result, many staff became jobless and the hospital faced to the shortage of human resources, so I am pleased that I could manage the maternity ward with the rest of the staff to keep serving the patients with the consideration of standard principles of MOPH and MSF.

Besides I have worked as a volunteer with some organizations and educational centers and I worked as a senior admin officer and teacher, so I have experience in administration and teaching as well.
