Work History

Adjunct Professor of Music and Voice

Saddleback Community College
Mission Viejo, CA
01.2024 - Current
  • Adjunct music faculty for applied voice. I create a personalized vocal exercise sheet for each student. These exercises consist of onset breathing exercises, agility exercises, and learning to sing with proper breath support. This ensures a solid vocal foundation for each student to learn, grow, and develop as a singer and musician. I then apply said technique to each student's assigned repertoire based on their semester and jury requirements.
  • Adjunct music faculty lecturer for courses Vocal Performance and Repertoire class. This combined class is based on learning proper singing technique, using my own vocal and onset breathing exercise chart, and then applying this technique to performance repertoire in the standard English, French, Italian, and German setting. This class is a joy to teach because I can share my experiences as an active professional opera singer and prepare them for the practical aspects of a career in music.
  • Engaged with colleagues in scholarly activities at professional conferences.
