  • Select and administer assessments and observations to evaluate the intellectual and educational functioning of referred students and to determine if students meet criteria for specified conditions according to federal and state regulations.
  • Complete and/or coordinate Full Individual Evaluation reports in accordance with federal and state regulations and district policy.
  • Consult with parents concerning the interpretation of assessment data and the educational needs of their student.
  • Conduct Admission, Review and Dismissal Committee meetings in compliance with federal and state regulations and district policy.

  • Collaborat with educators, school administrators and external professionals in the development of the Individual Education Pans (IEP).
  • Mentor first year diagnosticians as well as being a site mentor for practicum students
  • Traditional diagnostician on one to two campus' testing and completing ARD meetings. Currently on one campus with a case load of approximately 120 students. Average testing on one campus 50-55 students.
  • Blended model diagnostician on one to three campus' only testing and completing Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REED). Have completed up to 94 assessments in one year.
