Evaluating residents as needed regarding a change in condition or a fall. While i was employed here I also become a Unit Manager for the Dementia Unit. I continued to oversee and assist nurses and other staff members in giving the best care possible in a safe environment. Provided routine healthcare to patients who were preparing for or recovering from cardiac procedures. Followed established nursing processes, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. Administered medications under the guidance of the physician and hospital policy.
GI Lab RN- Assisted the physician with various GI procedures, as well as administering medications under the physicians guidance for these procedures. I also assessed the health status of patients and recording their health data. During this time I also became the Unit Coordinator in this department. My duties continued to be the same but also included the overseeing of the staff which included nurses and techs.
Cardiopulmonary Nurse: Administering medications under the physicians guidance as well assisting physicians in various procedures, Stress tests, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, bronchoscopies, and tilt table tests.
