I was involved with the April Funfest for many years. Assisted with the Spring Tea. Coordinated the Hospice Memorial in December for hospice families. Involved with community events to promote the programs of Socorro General Hospital.
In the year 2004 I earned my Bachelor of Science degree for Nursing. I continued to work in my present job at Presbyterian Healthcare services and in 2006 was promoted to Care Coordinator for the home healthcare and hospice. I was responsible for insurance authorizations along with scheduling the staff made up of nurses, home health aides, and therapies. In 2009 I was promoted to Manager of the home healthcare and hospice programs. I remained in the position until 2024. I am seeking a better work-life balance and top continue to serve the New Mexico population in their healthcare needs.
