I have been a long-term employee at St Dominic Hospital, 34 years.
From 1996 – 2024, 20 plus years, I have been involved with procedural areas and the supply chain duties involved with each of those areas, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Cardiovascular surgery are just some of the areas.
Duties include:
Maintaining par levels for surgery and procedures. Ordering in the system provided by each facility I work in to maintain that par level. I assisted in improving the supply chain process for CV Surgery.
I have built relationships with managers and staff at St Dominic including Main OR, OR East, CV Surgery, Cath Lab and EP Lab, Endoscopy and Interventional Radiology.
I have relationships with physicians at St Dominic and have worked with many to maintain the supplies need for their procedures.
I have a strong relationship built with Connie Fife, we have worked together for multiple years here at St Dominic with supply issues for these areas and when building the supply chain application while I was in IT.
I have built relationships with the staff in Revenue Integrity (Adrian Grant), Value Analysis (Michelle Bush and Angela Barker), Purchasing Manager (Sheila Norwood), Procurement Analyst Amanda Creel along with many other procurement analysts.
I maintain the tissue Tracking application Invita following all FDA regulations. I maintain a par level on the tissue items and reorder items when used for a procedure, which includes Consignment items, Bill Only and Bill and Replace items. I check items for upcoming expirations and work with the vendor representative to replace the items before expiration.
I assist with yearly inventory.
I have good working relationships with vendor representatives, and I can reach out for information and assistance as needed.

I participated in the FMOLHS 100-day workout in 2024 with the surgical team to cut cost by looking at the supplies that are not being utilized at St Dominic and found other facilities in the FMOLHS system that were able to utilize the items. We won 1st place.
