Jewelry making. Love to bead and make beautiful pieces of jewelry for people to wear and enjoy.

During my free time at home, I love to sit down at my beading table and make one of a kind pieces of handmade jewelry to give to my friends and family and for myself. It all started about 10 years ago when a former student came to school wearing a beautiful piece of jewelry. I asked her about it and she said that she and her Mom make jewelry to wear on the weekends. That's how they spend time together. I was so impressed I asked her if she could teach me how to make jewelry and she agreed. With permission from her Mom, we stayed after school one day and she taught me how to make earrings. I was hooked! I drove her home, with permission from her Mom, and dropped her off then I headed straight to A. C. Moore to buy the supplies that I would need to start my new Hobby. I bought quite a bit to get started with and I have been hooked ever since. It's fun and relaxing and it gives me an outlet to spend time doing something that I love. My passions are God, family, work and beading!
