- Hematology/ Coagulation - Performs complete blood count on Sysmex hematology analyzer and able to do differential count manually or using Cella Vision machine. Performs PT, PTT, D-Dimer and factor Xa on Stago Max.
- Clinical Microscopy- Conducts basic urine chemistry on Clinitek and manual microscopic exams. Also proficient in operating and conducting urine tests and interpreting results using the DXU IRIS automated urine analyzer. Perform wet prep and KOH.
- Microbiology - Perform Gram stains for sputum and blood cultures. Skilled in specimen preparation, staining techniques, and interpreting microbiological results.
- Experienced laboratory professional proficient in managing proficiency testing programs through the American Proficiency Institute (API). Skilled in coordinating testing schedules, ensuring compliance, and interpreting proficiency testing results.
