Sharon (Roonie) Rost

Eighteen years - Born and raised in Gettysburg, PA

Four years - Undergrad - Roanoke College and Jacksonville University

Six years - Traveled the country as a musical duo - GEMINI

Eighteen years - Lived in Nashville, TN - performing piano/vocal in various bands including backup vocalist for Roy Orbison.

Eighteen years - Completed Masters and moved to PA to teach elementary music. Directed two adult choruses performing outreach programs for assisted living communities.

Three years - On Board of Waynesboro Area Arts Council building Destination Arts! initiative in the community. Helped to develop Music Makers community art center.

Currently active in Venice community through Venice New Comers, South Venice Yacht Club, Venice Presbyterian Church, Venice Chorale, Venice Musicale, Reef Rovers, Pickleball, Biking, Golfing, Beach Yoga.
