Worked in DOE facility Y12 National Security Complex with the new Uranium Process Facility construction providing care to injured workers, OSHA mandated exams, urine and alcohol testing. Instrumental in bringing injury rate from 12 to consistently less than 0.5. Changed processes and procedures to accommodate management and employees' needs as construction advanced. Worked closely with onsite Y12's Occupational Health Services for continuity of care and to maintain consistent practices between the two providers. Worked in supervisory role over 7-8 employees as well as the lead provider.

Worked at a renown Steel company providing care to injured workers with knowledge of federal and state workers' compensation regulations, DOT certified drug and alcohol testing, return to work exams, and OSHA mandated physicals.

• Practice with autonomy providing services for clients to include work place physicals, OSHA surveillance physicals, VA disability exams, urgent care with minor injuries and work place injuries with knowledge of federal and state workers’ compensation regulations, DOT examinations, DOT drug testing and BAT certified, NIOSH certified in audiometry and spirometry, wellness education, and appropriate referrals to the community.

• Practiced with autonomy at a federal facility managing and treating work place injuries, OSHA mandated examinations, DOT examinations as well as drug testing and BAT, COHC, managed federal workers’ compensation claims, case manager, mask fit testing. Traveled within the agencies 7 states to provide support for facility medical needs. Developed agency wide Zero Injuries procedure. Lead with rewriting agency wide safety procedures. CPR instructor for the agency's electricians and other craftsmen. Worker liaison with the Department of Labor.

• Lead nurse practitioner providing health care to patients from toddler to end of life in a group practice of 6 physicians and 4 NPs in a family practice setting

• Provided occupational examinations for agency wide employees.

• Worked a one year contract for rural health in Greenwood and Tchula, MS. I worked family practice from newborn through end of life for two clinics within the Rotech company. I also practiced occupational medicine supporting local businesses.
