Became primary relief charge nurse in CPU after 2 years. This meant taking an assignment as well as being in charge, reviewing and signing off orders, assigning patients, giving end of shift unit report, responding to all Code Blues in house. CPU was an immediate post op unit for open chest, post valve replacement, coronary bypass surgeries.
