Worked for multiple prime contractors at the site for 12 years (Fluor Hanford, CH2M Hill, CHPRC, and Mission Support Alliance). Locations included Solid Waste Storage and Disposal, Soil and Groundwater Remediation, Sludge Treatment Project, Plutonium Finishing Plant demolition, and Mission Support Alliance supporting Balance of Site.

• Provided Industrial Hygiene and Safety support to Solid Waste Storage and Disposal (SWSD) facilities by developing and implementing methods for controlling and eliminating safety and health hazards.
• Provided industrial hygiene support for operational and maintenance facilities involved in soil and groundwater remediation.
• Provided primary Industrial Hygiene and Safety support to Sludge Treatment Project testing facility and operations.
• Conducted sampling and health hazard evaluations to identify and recommend hazard controls, ensuring thorough documentation and record management.
• Performed safety and health reviews on work packages, conducted job hazard analysis, and completed Industrial Hygiene Exposure Assessments for various work activities.
• Provided IH and safety support to several work groups within Balance of Site (BOS).
• Reviewed and approved the Employee Job Task Analysis (EJTAs).

• Provided shift safety support for all activities involving facility operations.
• Conducted comprehensive safety audits and inspections and recommended actions to correct hazardous situations to comply with DOD/OSHA regulations. Investigated injuries, conditions and incidents that do, or could, involve actual or potential liability.
• Provided support in the development, coordination, and implementation of industrial hygiene programs.
• Coordinated and conducted health hazard evaluations to eliminate or control hazards that could contribute to or result in occupational illness.
• Developed and recommended corrective and preventive actions to eliminate, control or reduce occupational health problems.
