Selected Accomplishments

  • Temporary position to untangle massive volumes of back-logged sales caught in the customer-service-inside-sales purgatory. Investigated several processes simultaneously, identifying and clearing roadblocks between clients, our own accounts receivables, our outside sales and inside sales and customer support due to multiple, disparate systems/processes that did not inter-communicate. Resulted in a flood of new revenue and formerly-angry customers who were then delighted to get their products/renewals as sales were unlocked. I received many thank-you emails from customers (educators) who were happily surprised by the above-and-beyond customer service.
  • Asked to tackle sales/customer service issues in online products after others were not able to. Was able to save a large block of high-value accounts from deactivation (lost sales) by working from the management side down to the customer to identify process problems, implement process improvement solutions and document new, improved processes that achieved customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Orchestrated seamless presentation of live public events in coordination with NCAA March Madness. Managed and/or hired 50 plus people for multi-stage live events. Hired staff, coordinated volunteers, finances, purchasing, and large supply inventories.
  • Produced two running productions per season (total 7 shows per day 9 months) for Hershey Park. Included national casting tours, collaborating with writers, set designers, costumers, artists, AV, stunt choreography (and sea lions) to create crowd-favorites.
  • Planned and produced tradeshow events. Exceeded quota for subscriptions and sales leads for CompuServe while serving as field marketing manager for Consumer Electronic Division. Excellent results led to company extend program and campaign additional 18 months.
  • Fundraised, resulting in record-setting revenue and market awareness for high-profile school adjacent to NYC. Key to success was persuading Mayor Michael Bloomberg to offer private tour of residence as auction item. Resulted in explosion of news coverage and new donors.
