Transport inpatient , outpatient and emergency room patients to their destination. Collect and deliver specimens from inpatient and outpatient units throughout the hospital. Responsible for maintaining par-levels on assign unit as well as to distribution clean linen such as sheets, blankets, towels, washcloths, gowns and bath supplies to inpatient units. As well as to supply outpatient clinics and emergency room with clean line. Maintain par-levels on emergency or disaster carts as scheduled before and during use.

Ensure quality assurance standards are met by rotating supplies in clinics and nursing units on a daily basis.

Responsible for receipt of cash and non- cash sales for food items. Responsible for setting of cafeteria for meal service. Assist with restocking of food items and supplies. Demonstrate a professional service and helpful attitude to all customers. Communicate pertinent information that will impact the department or hospital to the Director or Manager/Supervisor on duty.

Perform daily audits on each department that generates revenue to the organization. Reconcile credit cards to processor statements. Assist the staff accountant with account receivables by preparing detailed invoices to ensure proper payments. Perform internal audits throughout the National Zoo to ensure staff are following proper cash handling procedures in accordance to departmental policies and procedures. Identify potential for loss of revenues and develop strategies to eliminate shrinkage. Investigate and or interview individuals suspected of internal theft. provide administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and Controller
