Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Direct Therapy: Provide one-on-one, in-person therapy, often implementing individualized treatment plans in home, school, or clinical settings.
• Data Collection: Accurately record behavioral data (frequency, duration, intensity) during sessions to monitor progress.
• Behavior Intervention: Implement proactive and reactive strategies from a BIP to reduce challenging behaviors and increase positive, functional behaviors.
• Skill Acquisition: Teach functional skills, including communication, play skills, social skills, and daily living activities.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work under a supervisor (BCBA), provide updates to families, and collaborate with professionals like speech therapy.
