i was recently promoted to run a double plant supervising and assigning maintenance tasks, meeting and maintaining gradations, ensuring every aspect of the crusher is up to msha standard, managing a crew of 9 operators to run the crusher safely and as efficiently as possible, while ensuring to meet production goals.
I've been with ames since i turned 18 crushing rock working way up the ladder on the crushing crew i now know how to proficiently run every aspect of crushing including but not limited to running the control room, doing the ground work of keeping the plant clean, doing maintenance including but not limited to changing wear liners, diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, changing belts, cutting and welding to refabricate parts and pieces. im also proficient in all heavy equipment used on our crushers this includes a 988 loader and similar, excavators ranging in size, excavators with hammer attachments, push dozers d8 and up, skidsteers of all sizes, all terrain forklifts for loading and offloading trucks with belts and pallets and anything the crusher needed to move. all of this was done up to and exceeding msha standard i make a continuous effort to learn and know msha standard by heart enable to keep me and my coworkers safe
