Summary

I have been with Best Buy for over three years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I began my journey in Midland, TX (store #280) as the Front End Supervisor. I was quickly promoted to Home Theater Supervisor and, a few months later, to C&D Supervisor. In October 2022, I was promoted to Assistant Store Manager, now known as Experience Manager, and relocated to Abilene (store #940), where I currently work.


Throughout my tenure, I have consistently demonstrated strong performance in Profit & Loss management while ensuring the safety and well-being of both associates and customers. I am committed to my professional development and continuously strive to reach the next level. My successful strategies have been effectively implemented across the store and Micro-Market.

Accomplishments

  • Resolved product issue through consumer testing.

Construction knowledge

I have extensive experience in the construction sector, although I have not worked directly for a company. My expertise includes electrical work, woodworking (such as framing, siding, decking, and stairs), some plumbing, and various small renovations. I am proficient with cable installation, custom wiring, and the use of power tools, including multiple types of saws and other equipment. I am hands-on and enjoy this type of work.


This skill set has significantly enhanced my ability to build strong relationships with Best Buy clients. My practical knowledge of home construction has contributed to our store becoming a leader in In-Home Consultations, with notable improvements since my arrival.
