Teaching and communication
- Learning how to preach the gospel to all ages.
- Developing strategies to communicate the same message to all ages.
- Creating good illustrations and examples to get the message across.
- Understanding the importance of interacting when speaking.
Leadership
- Always focusing on the task/issue at hand.
- Imparting success to the next generation. Discipleship courses. One on one mentorship, effective counseling etc.
- Team building. Developing new resources from people from different backgrounds and insight.
- Brainstorming ideas. Gathering information and suggestions to bring the vision to pass.
- Always realizing that true leadership is about everyone working together. There's a difference between managers and leaders.
- Leading is the service to another mans vision. Keeping the same heart and realizing who you're serving.
- personally lead a mission trip to Morelia Mexico this past January. I was selected by the missions department of Charis Bible College to be over a team of second year students.
Time management
- Understanding the importance of creating and maintaining a productive schedule.
- Exercising necessary organizational skills in order to better perfect teams and departments. That will insure productivity and efficient time use.
- Being diligent in setting and attending meetings. Using meetings as a productive way to go over essential materials in order to bring the vision/issue to light.
- making sure that everyone is being respectful of each other's time.
