In the first two years of doing business, we generated over 25 million dollars in revenue. I have established Cap X equipment list, hired the local help within the office and field, streamlined the targeted market, had weekly financial calls with monthly projections on all electric projects in the southwest, created budgets and re-established my contacts with local vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors.

Project Executive
Rosendin Electric
12.2019 - 06.2021
In my inaugural year as Project Executive, our team delivered nearly two million dollars in value through a combination of meticulously executed underground excavation and concrete work for our commercial division. While proving to be a very lucrative division, the new Arizona leadership decided not to pursue any underground due to the risk involved.

Create, execute, and monitor budgets for each project to maintain client budgets and increase company profit.
Create safe and thriving work environments for all employees allowing them to reach their full potential and meet client deadlines.
Operations Manager
Sturgeon Electric
02.2016 - 12.2019
While managing special projects and the service department, I embarked on the strategic initiative to establish the transportation sector. I meticulously recruited and assembled a dedicated team. In an impressively brief span, we orchestrated the generation of over $37 million in revenue, revolutionizing the landscape of construction in the Phoenix and Tucson regions. Our diverse portfolio encompassed the successful execution of projects spanning traffic signals, street lighting, light rail stations, park and rides, airfield runways, and complex freeway undertakings. These endeavors showcased our expertise in underdeck lighting, high mast lighting, and a comprehensive array of intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
KEY DUTIES
Research and purchase equipment company wide while working closely with project managers, estimators, safety, and the superintendent.
Lead and managed teams to ensure maximum performance to hit client deadlines.
Developed and executed a cost system that translates to project specific bid items allowing corporate to capture under/over runs in real time.
Senior Project Manager
HMS Construction
08.2010 - 02.2016
During my tenure at HMS, I had the privilege of spearheading high-profile light rail projects in cities including San Diego, San Jose, and Portland, Oregon. Throughout these endeavors, I proactively fostered invaluable relationships with esteemed general contractors and industry-leading vendors. The demands of this role required extensive travel, a crucial component of building these vital connections and ensuring project success.
KEY DUTIES
Plan, oversee, and direct large light rail electrical projects.
Division Manager
TRAVERS ELECTRIC
06.2008 - 06.2009
This company was strictly a commercial & industrial company. The owner won a freeway / traffic signal project on interstate 5. I was hired to open and operate an additional office in Kent, WA. where I bid and managed several projects in the Seattle area. My responsibilities included hiring staff and several crews, helping the owner purchase equipment specific to the transportation industry. We were very successful, but when my father got cancer, we relocated to San Diego to take care of him.
Project Manager
Transtech Electric
06.2005 - 06.2008
Trans tech was a well-established transportation electrical contractor in the Northwest. The annual revenue was approximately 4 to 5 million dollars when I arrived and within a year, I was able to double this revenue. In 2007 our revenue grew to 14 million. The profit increased 14 to 23 percent. I was able to achieve these increases by capturing equipment depreciation, management and warehouse/ yard labor and hired an additional estimator/ project manager to work alongside of me as well as a contract administer.
Superintendent
POTELCO INC.
06.2000 - 06.2005
As a superintendent, I managed the field crews that consisted of more than 90 employees and dozens of ongoing projects across western Washington. I was also responsible for coordinating all of the equipment moves from project to project while maintaining budget and estimated manhours. The company felt I had the ability to move up in my career and sent me to school for estimating and project management courses. This was a Quanta company and with the division manager overstating approximately four million dollars in revenue, they decided to shut down this division. With the option to stay for high voltage by the president and CEO, I declined in order to stay within the transportation industry where I am knowledgeable and thrive.
