My duties and responsibilities as a Property Maintenance Inspector are primarily patrol-based, however, I am also responsible for conducting investigations within the City of York's Property Maintenance ordinances and laws, health and safety violations, and other quality-of-life conditions. In my capacity as a Property Maintenance Inspector, I have also been responsible for some of the following.

• Upheld codes and regulations governing materials, processes, and procedures.
• Identified repair and upgrade requirements needed to meet safety and quality standards.
• Prepared reports detailing findings of inspections, investigations, and tests.
• Investigated complaints to remedy buildings, equipment and safety issues.

During my time with the York City Police Department, I was primarily assigned to the Patrol Division, however, I was also privileged to have served in several other capacities. I worked closely with specialized units, conducting warrant services, undercover details, riot, and crowd control details, I am a certified School Resource Officer and former Hostage Negotiator. I hold several certifications, including, Crisis intervention, Advanced interview and interrogation, First aid and CPR, Class A, and Class B wiretap, and many in-house training received within the department. I was also responsible for and have been part of several of the following.

• Participated in ongoing training opportunities to stay current on best practices, maintaining a high level of expertise within the field of law enforcement.
• Utilized strong communication skills when interacting with diverse populations, fostering trust between the department and the community.
• Served as a school resource officer, improving relationships between youth and police through positive interactions and educational programs.
• Managed crowd control during events, ensuring public safety while minimizing disruptions to attendees or surrounding communities.
• Handled domestic disputes tactfully, de-escalating tensions while providing appropriate support to those involved.
• Trained new officers on department policies and procedures, fostering a professional work environment focused on public service.
• Maintained accurate case records and documentation, ensuring proper evidence handling and information sharing among relevant parties.
• Testified effectively in court, contributing to successful prosecutions of offenders.
• Conducted thorough investigations for various cases, leading to timely resolutions and justice served.
