I appreciate your consideration for a contributing role in your company. With over 30 years of experience in the traffic signal field and over 40 years in construction overall. I've been a part of Signal, Highway/Roadway, Fiber, Airport, and Railway projects across the state. From laborer to leadman, running crews as a foreman, and then on to inspector, I've experienced our business from the ground up. Starting in the trenches, pulling wire, installing conduit, setting boxes, and changing lamps, to wiring cabinets and hanging freeway signage. Along with pretty much everything in between, my hands-on experience has proven invaluable to me countless times as an on-site inspector, being able to assess a situation not just from a supervisory role, but also from the mindset of what physical demands are needed, relating to manpower and the necessary equipment to properly and safely execute the plan. I try to have an evenhanded and tactful approach with industry personnel at all levels, especially when dealing with the public. Over the years, our industry has been constantly changing, and I believe that I can adapt to whatever needs are required to bring a successful project home. I consider myself both a team player and a leader who can adjust to whatever requirements are needed for the task at hand. I've been committed to helping make our business the best it can be, in the form of training and safety, as a member of the International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) for over a decade, and a board member of the Arizona section for going on six years now. Serving as the former vice president, I am now the current delegate to the international board, representing the Arizona section, and I was awarded Volunteer of the Year at our annual conference in Cleveland this year. I've always been considered an asset to any company that I've worked for, and given the opportunity, I would love to become a part of your team.
