  • Work with the Drama Teacher/Director to support the overall artistic vision of school productions; Participate in production meetings to help plan and coordinate technical elements: sets, lighting, sound, props, and costumes; Assist in creating and maintaining a production calendar with key dates for rehearsals, builds, tech rehearsals, and performances; Oversee all technical aspects of the production, including lighting, sound, set construction, and backstage operations; Teach and mentor students in technical theatre practices, including stagecraft, lighting, sound design, and backstage etiquette; Train students in proper use of tools and equipment; Assist the Director during rehearsals by helping with blocking, note-taking, and managing cast logistics; Help manage the technical budget for each production, prioritizing essential materials and equipment.
