As a GSE technician it is my duty to maintain and repair over 120 pieces of equipment that operate on the airfield.

I am also tasked with fuel quality control and fuel farm maintenance, including pumping and filtration systems.

For the entirety of my employment at the Vail Valley Jet Center I have been on the snow removal crew. I operate a variety of equipment to maintain the aircraft ramp areas as well as access roads and parking lots.

Duties included:

• Servicing aircraft lavatories and potable water systems
• Towing aircraft to and from parking spots and hangars
• Marshalling aircraft to and from parking spots
• Providing GPU hookups/disconnects
• De-icing aircraft
• Fueling aircraft

Duties included:

• Digging to level ground for foundations, slabs, and sidewalks
• Setting forms and rebar
• Pouring and floating foundations and slabs
• Stripping and cleaning forms after pouring concrete, and cleaning up jobsite
