As assistant principal at a high-poverty middle school effectively improved student behavior outcomes and academic performance by implementing positive behavioral interventions and supports and data-driven instructional interventions. Taught World History, Virginia/US Government, Advanced Placement United States Government, and Advanced Placement Comparative Government by planning and implemented integrated Social Studies lessons to meet Virginia Standards of Learning.
