Trained and competent to take care of all types of patients with various illnesses and all different ages. Critical care, including life saving measures and continued treatment of providing and titrating life saving medications under the direct supervision of MD. Providing treatment for chronic illnesses, knowing the signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol detox, treating and assisting with rehabilitation if requested by patient, working with grand lake metal health to do so. Mental health illness, I have worked directly with mental health patients both adolescent and adults assisting in de escalation, safety, and making sure the patient is medically cleared for inpatient treatment. I work directly with Grand Lake Mental health of Bartlesville to find the best solution and plan of care for the patient and/or observe, monitor, and treat until the patient is medically cleared and/or holding until placement is found.

• Trained to work each role of nursing at David L. Moss. This includes booking: evaluate each patient that is booked into facility, obtain a health and mental health history. Task providers to continue patients home medications list. Evaluate for possibility of drug and alcohol withdrawal, implement protocols. Dispense controlled drugs such as Suboxone and Klonopine for active withdrawal in addition to chronic patients receiving medication. Responsible for responding to all medical emergencies in facility. Triaging on scene, utilizing critical thinking, and providing medical treatment. Deescalating patients with mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts and active attempts. Trained to work as charge nurse, being a supportive team member that is knowledgeable in policy and procedures.

• Resource nurse/ trained to work each department in facility. Received assignment at 0500 each morning and adapted to assignment. This included ER, ICU, med surg, IVU, cardiac unit, geri-psych, impatient rehabilitation, post op surgery, postpartum delivery. Provide compassionate care to patients, deliver medications, provide education and teaching to patients. Provide support for my coworkers. Review labs and results of tests. Notify MD or NP of changes in patient status. Respond to emergency situations and utilize training to assist as needed.
