Community Leader of the Year

I listened to community input from surveys distributed out to all stakeholders.  From the input given, I collaborated with the school community council to address each important aspect of needed changes.  Together, we implemented and monitored each project until the desired results were achieved.  I learned that everyone brings their own strengths and that by working together we could do great things.  An organized and driven group of stakeholders can manage multiple challenges and accomplish goals that build a stronger community.  It was a great experience that led to receiving a school district community leadership award and being nominated to represent Alpine School District in the National School Administrator of the Year.
