- Ensure safety of the residents and staff with searches of rooms, common areas, property, and persons.
- Perform frequent security checks of perimeter and interior of the facility.
- Watching camera surveillance of inside the center and outside of the center.
- Check the residents in & out of the center.
- Handling intakes for the center.
- Completing UA drug testing for residents of the center.
- Creating med sheets for the residents and verifying prescriptions.
- Conducting counts.
- Conducting pill lines.
- Transporting to the jail and sometimes medical.
- Helping the residents with resources that will help them succeed.
- Conducting orientation for the residents when they arrive so they know what is expected at the center.
- Handle accountability calls from the residents to ensure they are being accountable when off center as well.
- Building rapport with the residents by being a good example.
