Provides patient care under the supervision of the staff nurse to include but not limited to assisting with activities of daily living,specimen collection transportation of patients Assist physician's and nursing personnel with emergency patient care ventricular puncture,IV's and obtain other lab specimens,transport patients. Assist with examination and treatment of outpatient and minor surgical procedures as directed. Cleanse wounds,assist with spectroscopic and vaginal examinations,and take vital signs. Triage patients as they enter the emergency room. Assist with traumas and resuscitations,perform CPR,12 lead EKG and catherization.

The CNA assists in providing patient care under direct supervision and control of the Registered Nurse
