● BRC program participant, responsible for the department’s knowledge and compliance to the BRC standard – Includes: Management of allergens, Internal audit, Food safety plan-HACCP, Control operations, Specifications, Product labeling/Product authenticity, and claims such as but not limited to gluten-free, anti-biotic free (ABF), hormone free, all-natural, child nutrition (CN), genetically modified organisms (GMO).and chain of custody for multi-locations
● Supports conducting Internal BRC audits for multi-locations
● Generate product labels that are compliant with FSIS regulations
● Create, distribute, and implement internal specifications for finished products for multi-locations
● Responsible for new product set-up in Microsoft Dynamics Nav for multi-locations
● Obtain, review, and monitor ingredient supplier documentation for multi-locations
● Knowledge of export labels per USDA requirements for Canada, Mexico, EU, Japan, ETC…
● Create, maintain and trouble shoot labeling requirements for multi-locations
● Complete customer questionnaires for multi-locations
● Manage ESHA Genesis (nutritional database) and create nutrition facts panels for multi-locations
● Support multi-locations with regulatory questions concerning labeling entering their nutritional information through ESHA Genesis.
● Create and maintain customer specifications for all multi-locations
● Maintains confidentiality and integrity with regards to customer information and product specification maintenance
● Protects all proprietary information including, but not limited to memoranda and other documents.
● Lead Food Safety Culture Committee for multi-locations
