• Teach Sunday School to first and second grade students on a weekly basis in San Pedro, California. Experiences include consulting with administrators, Sunday school teachers, and parents regarding learning, behavioral management, and support for 7 years. Plan and implement lessons with a variety of instructional strategies to excite and motivate students through art, theater, visuals, games, life connections, dances, and songs.

• Teach 4th grade classroom in Los Angeles, California. Experience includes standards-based instruction, differentiation, collaboration with grade-level teams, utilizing co-teaching strategies, and professional development with staff and administration. Assess and analyze weekly assessments in math and language arts. Create and implement classroom management systems to reinforce positive behaviors. Plan a 4th grade field trip to Bolsa Chica Conservancy.

• Substitute teacher grades K-7th grade. Experiences include following the teacher's lesson plans for the assigned leave of absence. Collaborate with other teachers to talk about data, student needs, strategies in improving student learning.

• CELDT proctor for Garden Grove Unified School District. Experiences include assessing English second language learners from primary to high school levels throughout the district. Collaborate with other proctors to review and score test results of students.

• Student teacher for grades K and 6th grade in Garden Grove, California. Experiences include managing small groups in reading, math, and social studies, and PE. With guidance, feedback, and supervision by master teachers, plan and teach several lessons covering all subject areas. Participate in IEP, SST, parent/teacher conferences, and staff meetings.
