Working at 'A Woman’s Place' (A.W.P.), I documented and tracked notes pertaining to the demographics and the origin of hotline calls, while actively listening and providing emotional support to victims in need. I maintained an Excel spreadsheet and assisted with data entry. I implemented safety strategies and safety plans with callers trying to leave their domestically abusive relationships, and directed callers to proper departments when asked. I have also been instrumental in ensuring residents are following the safe housing rules and regulations set forth in the program. These goals surrounded using safe language and working on their housing goals. As an advocate, I responded to personal resident emergencies and crisis concerns with appropriate referrals. Maintained the cleanliness throughout the shelter, and properly stocked commonly used areas. Assisted residents in case management, meal preparation, and laundry. Lastly, but not least, participated in residents’ update meetings and reported all maintenance and housing concerns that arose.

Provided direct services to individuals in need. By assisting them with daily living tasks. Distributed in home treatment care supplies and demonstrated proper usage. Recorded data and computed daily progress notes to identify the transfer of skills and overall progress towards resiliency goals.

Provide a variety of case management practices, such as making referrals and helping parents or foster parents retrieve specialized outcome goals ordered by the judges. Provided ongoing direct services support to assigned children and families. While ensuring the development and implementation of comprehensive delivery plans based on the team's assessment of client needs. Worked closely with families, provided avid representation at welfare agencies, various community groups, the general public, and trial hearings.

Provided clerical support to staff and crime victims. Attended the trial hearing and documented information throughout the preliminary hearing and judicial process, assisted victims of crimes in filling out compensation forms, and processed restraining orders and legal documents.
