Clinical Practice I 

Setting: Inpatient Hospitalist Level 4 Trauma Facility Hours: 180 Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics with complex comorbidities Common Diagnoses:

  • Heart failure, COPD exacerbations, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes
  • Urinary tract infections, cellulitis, strokes, myocardial infarctions, Renal failure, inpatient hospice.
  • Post-surgical recovery: orthopedic, general surgery, cardiac procedures (heart catheterization, stents, pacemaker placement, ablations)

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Admitted, transferred, and discharged patients
  • Conducted daily rounds and contributed to differential diagnoses
  • Formulated evidence-based treatment plans
  • Interpreted laboratory and radiology results to guide clinical decisions

  • ICU: Post-operative patients, sepsis, multi-organ failure, trauma,Post-CABG, cardiac events (STEMI/NSTEMI), ARDS, DKA etc.
